only 5 of us at the mep sushi buffet today... hahaha as usual pohning wasn't there. kk and i were really out of ideas for the belated christmas gift exchange... bought fruit-flavoured shower gels! how pathetic. hmmm... we didn't mind if we got our own gifts in the end. went shopping with emz before the buffet cos she hadn't bought her gift... hahaha both kk and i thought the romantic europe calendar was a better choice but we agreed that the winnie the pooh one was good too. too bad it went to gerald, poor emz!
after buffet emz, kk, gerald and i watched phantom of the opera... it's great! except... the speaker at the bugis cinema spoilt most of the music. quite hilarious at first... whenever the actresses sang, they sounded like they had something stuck in their throat. for the phantom it wasn't that obvious except for the high notes. still enjoyed it i guess... i loved all the songs with dark harmony ;)
